Hello class!! How are you? Ready for Christmas?? I'm sure you are after these months working so hard!! I hope you spend a really good time with family and friends and enjoy these special celebrations.

Last class we had a good time; we made some crafts, we took some photographs and we sang and dance a very nice Christmas carol. I'm really proud; you did very very well.

Then you received your marks and we knew who was the winner of our Olimpic Games: This tern the winner is Laura... but Alexia was only 5 points less... The second term is looking interesting!

Tuesday 9th December

Hello class! How are you? I'm fine, I hope you too. Waiting for Christmas!!

Last class we first continued with the topic of animals. We were doing a lot of things with activities, speaking, listening, songs... and we revised HOW MANY __________ ARE THERE? It was very good, especially when we could play with new cards "class-made". It was very funny!!

Then we introduced some voc related to Christmas and we made our first craft, a beautiful Christmas Tree with very nice decorations. I hope you enjoyed as I  did! And also some songs... Next day will be the last of this term so you will get your marks, ok?

Hello class!! How are you? Well, I hope you're fine after the weekend... although still I miss lots of stories. Very few lines written, except one or two students, the rest, please: don't forget to bring your stories and pictures next week. Time is running out, tic-toc, tic-toc...

Last class we first checked your stories; you have to finish. Then we practised HAVE GOT...again. You have to review a bit more, especially when using the short forms; here you have to revise

Then we practised listening and speaking and it was better, but you have to improve still a bit with your worksheets, right?. We practise this voc:

Hello  class!! How are you? I hope you're enjoying the video we saw in class and wanting to know more and more about Thanksgiving. I told you the story of History in class, and we listened to some songs and learnt lots of vocabuary related to this celebration, as MEAL, FEAST, PILGRIMS, PUMPKIN PIE, ROAST TURKEY, etc. I hope you enjoyed learning about this.

Before we checked your stories/pictures for our project; very good, but you have to continue, because some of you didn't write many lines, right? But it's ok; next day please, bring some more lines and pictures.

Then we revised IS/ARE THERE..... + PREPOSITION. This activity was very good because still you remembered many of the prepositions you learnt last couse. Congratulations, class!!!. But just in case... here you have the ones we worked with:

Tuesday 18th November

Hi kids!! How are you? I guess you're flying with your imagination and the Dragon inventing amazing stories for our project, aren't you?? I'm glad to know you're doing right as you started in the classroom. Well, little by little we'll get a wonderful book with all your stories.

Last class we revised HOW MANY___________ ARE THERE? and the numbers again. As I told you I'm very happy because you're working really hard and learning a lot!! We sang the song that you knew before and you got extra points. Congratulations!

We practised listening and pronunciation, too. All of you read part of a story (to practise there is,there are, there isn't, there aren't) and I have to say that you're improving week after week. After listening to the story you answered the comprehension activities quite well and finally our project started.

As I said in class, you don't need to worry about grammar or spelling. For this reason we have started in class, to check all kind of mistakes. The important thing is to imagine great stories. You will also add some drawings and/or pictures to have a very cool book. You'll see!

Tuesday 11th November

Hello class, how's it going? Well, I hope you're fine and revising what we learnt last lesson. We were working again with THERE IS / THERE ARE  but still we have to continue practising. You're working very hard these days, you're doing better and better and I'm very happy, as I said in class.

We had activities in which we practised the structure mentioned above. We were asking HOW MANY... ARE THERE? and giving answers, you showed a great improvement ! Then we listened to the song HOW MANY MOMKEYS... And wwe had lots of fun. It's incredible how well you know the song!! I'm loving it!!

We listened to a story to introduce new characters. I asked you to listen to it again but I cannot upload the story, I don't know why.Well, don't worry because next week I will give you the written text and we will answer some questions.

Remember to complete the worksheet I gave you because it's homework to review THERE IS/ISN'T, THERE ARE / THERE AREN'T, IS THERE...? / ARE THERE...? And you Victor bring some pictures of you with the Dragon and get ready  to explain to the class next day, ok?

Hello class! How are you? I guess you're still thinking about all the stuff you did last class. It was really funny, wasn't it? And a bit scary!

Hello class, how are you? I hope you're fine. I'm fine, too. Last class was very funny and we laughed a lot. We revised the verb HAVE GOT to describe people in our family, saying their hair colour, their eyes colour, things they wear (as glasses, ring, hat...) Well, it was very good, and your reading-pronunciation activity too.

We listened to some songs related to HAVE GOT and also to animals; we will work with that topic after Halloween, ok? We practised in order to translate 6 short sentences you have for homework. And Laura, you please complete the workheet I gave you with information about the Dragon. You have to say the things he has got and the things he hasn't got, ok?

By the end of the class we played again with our family cards... It was very funny. But please, try not to shout  that way!!

Hello class! How are you? I'm sure you're ok, last class was very funny!! At the begining you gave great presentations with your family trees, what a good job!!  I'm very happy, you're working very hard. Then we continued with some questions and with new words related to family. We listened to some songs, too and danced for a while.

Then we moved to our listening activities. It was a bit difficult at first but then we got it!! Believe me: I'm really happy with your work. We continued working with some activities and we practised a lot.

After your snack we learnt how to say "My mother's daughter is... my sister" and so on, and although you made an impressive effort we will work a bit more, right?

To finish we played with our new family cards and had lots of fun, what a battle!!

Tuesday 7th October

Hello class!! How are you? I'm sure ok and having fun while watching this video!! I like because you learn about the family and it's very easy to sing. We watched in class and had lots of fun!

In the first part of the class we were revising questions like "What's your name?" "How are you?" "How old are you?"... and, believe me, the more you practise the better you do. I was very happy with this activity because all of you were asking and aswering these (and more) questions.

We had a lot of listening last class... at the beginning it was a bit difficult, but then it was very good. We listened to some questions and then some songs.

In the second part of the class we met our Dragon pet!!!! We were very happy since it was with us at last!! And from now on, this dragon will spend a week with one ot you week after week, and you have to take care of it, and do as many things as possible to tell the class.

We also introduced vocabulary related to the family. We created a Family tree in class for you to have an idea about your homework. You have to do your own family tree trying to be creative and original, ok? Adrian will create our Dragon's family tree, right?

Hello class!! How are you? I'm sure you're fine since all of you knew the alphabet last class. You did so well that I'm really happy with you.

On Tuesday we were revising the alphabet with songs and games and we finished our secret codes with the Code Buster activity. Even you knew the answers, very well done!! Before we went for your snack we were playing some games.

During the second part of the class we were working with the verb TO BE when we introduce ourselves and day "Hello" to other people. At the same time we introduced the characters of this lesson, do you remember the family members?

Hello class!! Here we are again after a long, long summer holiday! I hope you have enjoyed this time but now we must be ready to work.

In our first class you told me about your holidays and you asked and answered some questions... Great summer! Then we revised the alphabet (with songs) and said a lot of words in our first quiz. Well done.

The second part of the class was used to work a bit harder with letters and you solved the mystery with the Code Buster game. You sang the ABC song and then we played games with our alphabet cards. Very good.
